BoysonTube! Nowadays, when we use the term “boys” we mean, Twinks. It’s become a more socially acceptable way to refer to younger and legal models, I much prefer it that way. There are sites though which started before this trend, which brings us to boysontube.com. It’s a decade old tube site dedicated purely and solely to bringing us the best twink guys out there. It’s a goldmine of amateur gay twink porn, which we can all be happy about. There is nothing better than a hot twink, especially a blonde one, with no chest hair and a slim but curvy body. Having milky white skin and a creamy loud doesn’t hurt either. You won’t find an ounce of body hair on these guys, you may find some elsewhere, though. 

Of course, there are now thousands of these sites that crop up by the minute. Non really have the real raw amateur quality that this site features, though, and I’ll go more into that lately. Usually, other sites are just ad farms, designed purely to rinse you of your hard-earned money. Everything on boys on tube is completely free, and whilst it does contain some ads, they are minimal by other sites standards.

The majority of the videos on this site, are just homemade and amateur porn. The best kind, in my eyes. There’s no fake ness in these videos, just down and dirty porn videos of people in the comfort of their own home, or in the woods, judging by one video I saw. The look of ecstasy in their eyes, tells the whole story. You can’t get that in pro porn, where there is ten people watching and the bright lights from the cameras bearing down on you. That’s the thing, we know they are doing it because of their primal instincts, they are horny, and they need to show everyone. They aren’t being paid to perform, which can sometimes lack a certain chemistry.

I’d say that 99 percent of the videos contain slim, slender twinks, with some of the older folk thrown in for good measure. Dated design & Navigation

The issue with sites this old is that they never seem to want to revamp their design. I get it, don’t fix what isn’t broken. I’m sick of browsing websites that just aren’t up to scratch. It’s not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, and browsing via mobile is quite decent. It’s just not great, and lacks that clean edge. However, whilst the site is bland, the filtering options and the navigation is pretty decent and pretty simple. The navigation is nothing special, it has the usual suspects in the top navbar, highest rated, top videos etc I don’t need to explain this, as you should be able to work it out by now. 

The thumbnails show a preview on hover, which is a nice feature which a lot of sites miss. The video player however is basic as hell, it doesn’t feature any of the features modern players have. There’s no speed option, but it does have a download button which is nice, so you can download all the videos to your heart’s content. Because the player is so simple and basic, watching on mobile devices is a breeze. Nowadays, as soon as you open a video page, you’re stuck with pre-roll ads and popups, but there’s none of that here. Sure, I would like some controls like speed and quality, but we can’t have everything, can we?

There seems to be no category section, though, which I found quite odd. Yes, I know this is a site dedicated to twinks only, but it could categorise it by sub niches such as blowjob, outdoor etc. It would make browsing so easier, you can’t always rely on the search. The top-rated section though gives you a general idea of some of the top content, but there are definitely some hidden gems not on there. 

Luckily, boysontube only has a few ads, there are a few banners on the video page. Usually, sites send you to the other side of the internet. This doesn’t happen here, and I was surprised to not see any pop-ups at all. The ads when browsing on mobile though can be quite annoying, they seem to take up most of the screen. I was so pre-occupied with the content though that I didn’t really notice. The ad’s aren’t animated either, so it doesn’t pull your eyes away from the real content.

It’s completely free, and if you don’t want to use your personal details, you don’t have to. Feeling daring? What I like

So, apart from the thousands of daily updated videos of twinks, I do enjoy the functionality of the site. You will find every single decent twink clip on the internet here, and if you don’t, you aren’t looking hard enough. With such a simple site, it makes mobile browsing so easy, which I admire a lot. The sheer amount of content is what carries this site alone. It’s updated daily which is a bonus, as there are tons of sites out there that just recycle the same old content, but you will find separate uploaders fighting to add their favourite clips to the site. That’s the beauty of an amateur content site, it attracts people with similar interests who love adding their own favourites to the collection, in hope of seeing others do the same.

What I dislike

Apart from the small amount of ads, which I didn’t mind too much. I absolutely didn’t like that there was no category section. There is a big thing I didn’t mention, and that is video quality. With an aged site like this, it will have been populated with videos from over ten years ago. That means 480p galore, and a distinct lack of 4k videos. In fact, I struggled to find any video in HD. The video player also doesn’t have a quality feature, so you’re stuck with whatever quality the video was uploaded with. 

The design isn’t terrible, but it could do with an upgrade, I feel. It’s missing some of the basic features that we all take for granted nowadays. I don’t expect it to be neon green with flashing logos, I do expect it to have some of the modern perks newer tube sites do. They have evolved so much over the past few years, and this feels like it’s stuck in its old ways. However, the site is solid and definitely worth checking out if you’re into glorious twinks.
